Frank Castle
The Department of War is located in Frank Castle on Whynchatakea Peak just outside the royal grounds. The castle was originally built as a defensive garrison protecting the only road to the Royal Residence. While it still maintains its function as a checkpoint and garrison, its primary use is that of a command center for the nation's armed forces and the headquarters of the Royal Army. The latter dual role stems from the traditional role of the General of the Army being appointed as the head of the Department of War. With the appointed of Cpt. Morgan as the head of the Department of War, the Royal Navy has a greater presence at the castle; however, it is still the headquarters of the Royal Army.
Orange Naval Base
Orange Naval Base is the headquarters of the Royal Navy. Located on the Lake of the Woods, the base was originally built to protect the harbor from attacks. As that role diminished, the navy converted it to a staging area for the fleet. During the Ice Cold War, the navy moved its headquarter here as it was a more defensible location. This proved fortuitous as the old center was destroyed a month later during an attack. The base is protected by an Orion Class Submarine and is the port of duty for the HGS Black Swann.
